The AWG firefighting equipment is very specialised and is Europe’s leading manufacturer of professional firefighting fittings and firefighting equipment, founded more than 100 years ago. AWG provides end-to-end solutions for mobile and stationary fire prevention systems. Their standard of quality excellence is consistent with every order.

AWG Specialised Firefighting Equipment

MCS Fire offers a full product line of AWG fittings – products you can rely on to keep you safe while you do your job saving other people’s lives!

AWG NOZZLES AND BRANCH PIPES

AWG Turbo Nozzles is the latest evolution in selectable gallonage nozzles. The lightweight compact design makes it easier for firefighters to use and creates less torque from nozzle reaction increasing the overall control.
The unique gas-cooling indicator and flush click indicator make AWG Turbo nozzles the easiest and safest nozzles for use in today’s firefighting environment.
AWG Turbo Twist is the only genuine jet and spray branch pipe, with its spring-loaded and self-locking bayonet connection a whole range of innovative nozzles can be attached in just seconds.
Along with all standard applications for applying extinguishing agents such as hollow stream, full jet, and foam branch pipes, special application-specific attachments can be used to give you maximum firefighting flexibility while saving space on a safety vehicle.

It has an excellent spray jet, to improve the extinguishing effect and to dampen down gases and vapours.

FOAM MAKING EQUIPMENT

AWG is a leader in foam inductors and is designed to feed foam concentrates at a set mixing rate into the hose line. Inductors are placed in the delivery line between the pump and the foam nozzle and can be used for medium and for heavy foam nozzles. The venturi system creates a vacuum in the body of the inductor and the foam concentrate is picked up via a suction hose with a coupling.
Portable low expansion foam-making branch pipes are used in mobile hose lines with water/foam premix and are suitable to produce a low expansion foam for extinguishing fires of flammable liquids or of solid materials. Their purpose is to add air to the foam/water premix stream forming a fire extinguishing low expansion foam with an expansion rate of about 1:7.
The Z2 inductors are designed to introduce a variable percentage of foam concentrate into a pressurized water stream. It provides an inexpensive foam proportioning means where available water supply pressures are adequate. Typical applications include use by municipal fire departments and fire brigades. It is important that a matched foam nozzle be used with the inductor to ensure proper performance.

Products:

DIVIDERS & COLLECTORS

Dividers are used for distributing the extinguishing medium from one feed line over several hose lines, or in special cases for collecting it in the reverse direction. Each hose line can be shut off individually by means of a stop valve.

MISCELLANEOUS AWG PRODUCTS

There are two main types of axes used in firefighting. The one is a flathead axe, which has a wedge for cutting into objects. The other type is a pick-head axe, which has a cutting wedge on one side, and a pointed pick for penetration of objects. Spanner wrenches are for easy disconnecting/connecting of Storz couplings. The AWG Hose Washing Machine is to be used for the cleaning of dirty delivery hose. Accommodates hoses up to 3” using incoming inlet pressure of only 60 PSI. Self-feeding design.
